According to Royal Decree 235/2013, which transposes Directive 2002/91/EC and partially Directive 2010/31/EU, all newly constructed buildings and existing buildings that are the object of sale or lease and buildings occupied by a public authority with an area of more than 250 m2 usually frequented by the public, they are required to have an energy efficiency certificate. In addition, this certificate must be registered in the Register of energy efficiency certificates of your Autonomous Community. The energy efficiency certification of a building is the process by which the compliance of the energy rating obtained through any of the recognized tools to obtain this rating is verified. Once this conformity has been verified, the Administration issues the corresponding energy efficiency label for the building.

*We usually process all the IDs and certificates in our offices the same day of the visit.
The energy certificate is usually available the same day or the day after the visit, while government institutions take about a month to process the certificate. However, you will receive a receipt valid for rentals and others the same day or the day after the visit by email.
